    Perkembangan teknologi dan transformasi digital memberikan impak yang signifikan kepada kehidupan belia pada masa kini. Oleh itu, pelbagai inisiatif dilaksanakan bagi menjayakan perubahan tersebut menerusi pemerkasaan literasi maklumat dan media (MIL), kesediaan digital, dan keselamatan siber terhadap golongan belia. Tindakan ini bagi memastikan amalan digital mereka berdaya tahan dalam persekitaran digital yang semakin mencabar. Kecekapan-kecekapan ini penting untuk membantu para belia menjadi pengguna yang kritis dan beretika, sekaligus mencipta kesejahteraan digital yang holistik dalam pelbagai aspek seperti kerjaya, keusahawanan, sosial, ekonomi, mental, dan psikologi. Demikianlah, betapa pentingnya setiap individu mempunyai tanggungjawab dalam menyumbang kepada kesejahteraan digital melalui aktiviti yang dilakukan dalam talian secara bersepadu dan holistik. Tambahan pula, penguasaan pengetahuan dan kecekapan berkaitan digital menjadi tunjang kepada pemerkasaan kecerdasan digital (DQ) dan membentuk kesiapsiagaan kemahiran masa depan dalam kalangan belia.

    This study aims to better recognize patient satisfaction in healthcare settings about communication issues. There are affiliation styles and control styles used to explore the effectiveness of patient satisfaction. This study was conducted among outpatient clinics at Hospital Seberang Jaya, Penang. Data analysis was conducted using statistical package for social sciences students SPSS 13. Purposive sampling is used to obtain a total of 115 patients responded to this survey. Pearson correlation used in this study and show that affiliation style had significant positive relationships with patient satisfaction. While no relationship between control communication style and patient satisfaction. This study contributes to the development of health services in Malaysia.

    The evolution of technology has made our planet diverse faster than ever before. The impact on industry and marketing strategies, in particular, has become crucial. From ancient marketing strategies to modern methods, developments are diverse everywhere, and digital platforms play a crucial role. Digital marketing was seen as an innovative method of advertisement that generated fresh ideas for companies to try to do business. Marketing activities carried out through digital channels have made it possible for marketers to connect directly with potential consumers regardless of their geographical location. Knowing how to use digital platforms has been exaggerated, just like the Internet, email, smartphones and digital TV, and advertisers are currently using these platforms for different roles in the promotion. The significance of this study is to know about the impact of digital marketing and investigate the relationship of motivation factors towards online buying intention of UniMAP students. Interestingly, results revealed that motivation had a significant relationship with motivational factors towards online consumer buying intention. Social media marketing and content marketing, digital marketing platforms, have contributed to online consumer buying intention.

    Alam Melayu mengalami tahap perkembangan yang tinggi selepas Melaka menjadi sebuah pelabuhan Entreport yang terkenal di Wilayah Nusantara sekitar abad ke-14 Masihi. Malah bahasa dan sastera turut berkembang secara positif apabila menerima pengaruh ajaran Islam yang dibawa masuk ke Nusantara. Namun begitu, apabila Malaysia terdedah kepada teknologi dunia digital, elemen-elemen asas seperti bahasa turut menerima kesannya dalam usaha untuk melestarikan bidang bahasa tersebut. Kertas kerja ini memfokuskan kepada sejarah perkembangan bahasa Melayu serta kesannya dalam konteks masyarakat dan kebudayaan. Penulisan ini adalah berdasarkan kepada kajian kepustakaan dengan melihat kepada sumber-sumber bertulis yang sedia. Maklumat-maklumat yang diperolehi tersebut akan dianalisis bagi mendapat maklumat yang tepat bagi menjawab persolan dalam kertas kerja ini. Analisis kandungan digunakan untuk menganalisis segala rujukan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini. Perkembangan teknologi pesat yang melanda dunia pada hari ini turut melanda wilayah Tanah Melayu. Penerimaan teknologi sebagai asas pembangunan kepada negara bukan hanya melibatkan sektor pembuatan dan perkhidmatan bahkan turut juga melibatkan aspek bahasa Melayu. Secara umumnya, didapati kesan kemasukan teknologi IR 4.0 memberi kesan terhadap bidang tersebut dalam konteks kemasyarakatan dan kebudayaan. Kedua-dua bidang tersebut memerlukan kepada pendekatan yang tertentu dalam usaha melestari dan memperkasakan bidang tersebut agar selari dengan keperluan dan perkembangan semasa. Tegasnya, usaha dan komitmen dalam kalangan rakyat dan pihak pemerintah adalah penting dalam usaha memartabatkan kegemilangan bahasa Melayu dalam generasi masa kini dan akan datang.

    The development of information and communication technology (ICT) accelerates the process of adapting to digital life. Digital practices and behaviors in life have significant impact both positively and negatively. However, digital media users are always exposed to cybersecurity threats that undermine their digital wellbeing. This paper focuses on the relationship between cybersecurity, media and information literacy (MIL), digital literacy, and digital readiness towards the digital wellbeing of youth in Malaysia. This framework combines the advanced version of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) and the UNESCO Digital Wellbeing Framework. The proposed methodology for this study is a quantitative method using an online questionnaire with respondents selected through simple random sampling. The study's results are expected to determine the level of digital wellbeing among Malaysian youth in particular. In addition, this study also predicts the variables that influence the digital wellbeing of youth. The results of this study provide theoretical implications for the combination of the UTAUT2 theory and the holistic nine-dimensional digital wellbeing framework. In addition, the results of this study can provide input to stakeholders to empower cyber safety advocacy programs, digital literacy education, and the development of youth digital talents.

    The effects of cognitive behavioural therapy group intervention on locus of control among drug abusers

    The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects between Standard Cognitive Behavioural Therapy [CBT(S)] and Brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy [CBT(B)] on locus of control among drug abusers. The quasi-experimental design with two treatment group [CBT(S) and CBT(B)] and one control group (CG) and four repeated measurements (pre, post1, post 2, and post 3) were employed in this study. The sample of 108 drug abusers was chosen using purposive sampling procedure. Sample was then distributed randomly into three groups; CBT(S), CBT(B) and control group (KW). Each group consisted of 36 samples. Data were collected with standardized psychometric instruments, Internal Control Index. Data were analysed using two-way ANOVA repeated measurement. Result demonstrated significant differences among group CBT(S), CBT(B) and CG on locus of control mean score [F(2, 13.38)=200.4, p<.05]. The impact of study shows that CBT(S) and CBT(B) intervention are able to increase locus of control among the drug abusers.

    Use of interactive video based on motion graphics to create awareness on handling stress

    The development of the interactive video based on motion graphic is to spread awareness to the people about the appropriate ways to handle stress. This is because many people face stress in daily life, but they do not know the correct way to manage and handling the stress. An interactive based on motion graphic used as the medium due to easy to understand and able to attract the patient's attention. The model used to develop this product is Alessi and Trollip Model. The model contains 3 phases which are planning, design and development phase. Alpha test is conducted to test the effectiveness of the product and to make sure that the objectives of the project are achieved. The test is conducted by interviewing a multimedia expert, a content expert and 5 users which are students that reside at Kolej Kediaman Tuanku Fauziah (PFi2). The results obtained from conducting this test were positive as the feedback from the users suggests that the information given in this video is relevant and useful thus, help them to manage their stress. In this research, interactive multimedia learning based on motion graphic is effective toward the improvement of people to manage their stress in digital format.

    Influence of hate speech messages on voters' choice of candidate in Kwara State 2019 gubernatorial election

    The Nigerian and some Asia country's media landscape over the years has projected numerous political campaigns that are hate speeches directed at the perceived opposition candidates and political party. This study examined the influence of hate speech messages on voters' choice of candidate in Kwara State, Nigeria in 2019 GE and was anchored on the agenda-setting theory. The study used a survey research design with a single cross-sectional research method. The study generated 464,393 registered voters as the study population. Using cluster sampling and purposive respectively to select 400 samples. The study, therefore, discovered that social media is the most channel of exposure by respondents on hate speech messages during the 2019 gubernatorial election in Kwara State with 66%. The study also found that the use of hate speech undermines the importance of political candidates with 72% in any given election. The study further discovered that the use of hate speech during elections influenced the voters by making them change from one candidate to the other with 82% thereby encouraging more votes against the opposition party. The implication of these findings has a strong influence on the way electorates undermine the importance of political issues and as such rendered political candidates and parties irrelevant with a critical effect on the credibility, fairness, and smooth running of any political landscape and the conduct of Nigerian elections in general. The paper proposes critical political education to electorates on voting behavior to promote good governance.

    The development of the interactive motion graphic is to spread awareness to the people about the correct ways to handle stress. This is because many people face stress in daily life, but they do not know the correct way to manage stress. An interactive motion graphic is used as the medium because it is easy to understand and can attract the viewers' attention. The model used to help develop this product is Alessi and Trollip Model. The model contains 3 phases which are planning, design and development phase. In conclusion, the development of this product can help people manage their stress.

    The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships in using the learning aid software in learning English language among rural primary school children during the Pandemic Covid 19. This study has shown that the most contribution socio demographic factors in influencing the occurrence of anxiety among the rural primary school children in using the learning aid software in learning English language were the parents' or guardians' education and income followed by internet accessibility, number of siblings, place in siblings and gender. The basic computer skills that the rural primary school children had significant contribution in anxiety namely somatic, cognitive and avoidance behaviour. Assessing the ability of mastering the ICT basic skills contributed to anxiety whereby cognitive scores the highest followed by somatic and avoidance behaviour.
