PublicationEmployee performance in the perspectives of training, reward and motivation: Evidences from the Malaysian manufacturing company( 2021-05-03)
;Mariadass R.J.The purpose of this study is to examine several effects of predictors (eg. training, reward, motivation) on employee performance in the manufacturing sector. Organization needs to put more concerns about employee performance to ensure they could retain their performance because this can contribute to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the country. To provide some empirical evidences on the performance among the manufacturing employees this study has been conducted in one company located in the Northern Region of Peninsular Malaysia. A number of 355 respondents have been participated in this study. Training, reward and motivation have been tested as the independent variables in this study. Meanwhile, employees' performance has been examined as the dependent variable in this study. The questionnaires comprised of 28 items based on Likert Scale ranged from strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (5). In this study, data is collected from 355 employees based on the simple random sampling technique. Results presented that training and reward had significant and positive relationships with employee performance. Interestingly, results revealed that motivation had significant and negative relationship with employee performance in this study. Therefore, motivation did not give great impact on employee performance based on the study findings. Hence, this study concluded that the organization should emphasis on employees' training and reward to ensure the employees' performance can be increased. -
PublicationAnalyse the impact of health services in Malaysia by using SPSS( 2020-06-17)This study aims to analyse the impact of health service in Malaysia. A descriptive study was designed using survey method. This study was conducted under government hospital in Penang. Data were collected using statistical package for social sciences SPSS. A total of n = 115 patient responded to this survey. This study showed that access to services, have a positive relationship with patient satisfaction. Access to services are acknowledge as key determinants to improve health services quality in Malaysia.

PublicationHealth-related social media use among youth in Malaysia( 2023-04-24)Ayub S.H.In the Web 2.0 era, social media are pervasive, rapidly evolving and increasingly influencing people's daily life and their health behaviour. Emerging as a potential source for online health information it significantly contributed to the increase in access and usage of new media, particularly among youth. However, little is known about how they use social media for such purposes. This study is seek to identify the patterns of social media use among youth scouting around (1) the most popular social media, types and form of information sought (2) frequency of social media use and (3) activities on social media in the context of health information search. This descriptive quantitative study consisted of an online questionnaire survey of 509 youth. The population is a group of youths who are pursuing their studies at public universities (age range 18-25) randomly selected through multi stage random sampling. Four selected universities to represent the zones and G Power Analysis Software has been used to identify sample size. Facebook is the main choice for respondents in the search for health information after Youtube and Blog. Twitter was less used by respondents in the context of health information search. In terms of health information sought, the majority of respondents liked to seek information about the cause of the disease, symptoms, complications or effects and nutritional information. Most respondents prefer to seek health information in the form of images and storytelling/personal experiences of suffering from illness. Respondents spent most of their time on Blog and Youtube for reading on health information. Youth are using social media for seeking health information. However, they are more likely to consume information than they are to contribute to the information posted online. The inherent value of "social"in social media is not being captured with online health information use.

PublicationQualitative study: The first stage of starting a business for entrepreneurs with disabilities( 2020-01-01)

Encouraged through entrepreneurship in the entrepreneurship field can make a significant impact on this group and indirectly on the country. The main purpose of this article is to discuss two objectives of the study, namely to identify the impetus experienced by entrepreneurs with disabilities in starting a business and to understand the situation experienced by people with disabilities in starting a business. Therefore, this study was conducted through a qualitative method using a semi-structured interview approach involving eight informants comprising entrepreneurs with disabilities to obtain research information. -

From ancient marketing strategies to modern methods, developments are diverse everywhere, and digital platforms play a crucial role. Digital marketing was seen as an innovative method of advertisement that generated fresh ideas for companies to try to do business. Marketing activities carried out through digital channels have made it possible for marketers to connect directly with potential consumers regardless of their geographical location. Knowing how to use digital platforms has been exaggerated, just like the Internet, email, smartphones and digital TV, and advertisers are currently using these platforms for different roles in the promotion. The significance of this study is to know about the impact of digital marketing and investigate the relationship of motivation factors towards online buying intention of UniMAP students. Interestingly, results revealed that motivation had a significant relationship with motivational factors towards online consumer buying intention. Social media marketing and content marketing, digital marketing platforms, have contributed to online consumer buying intention. -

Social entrepreneurship for sustainability to go further other than organization because of social entrepreneurship have social value and innovative idea in environmental sustainability goal. By discussing the historical backgrounds of this issues to achieve environmental sustainability goal. One objective of social entrepreneurship is to ensure that the solving of social problem. This study, therefore attempted to examine the relationship between social entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability in Malaysia. The paper therefore, recommends environmental sustainability review in order to involve social entrepreneurship social values to the community. A conclusion is made that if environmental sustainability framework is properly implemented and all the associated advantages harnessed, the high level of environmental pollution in the country will be drastically reduced. In this regard, all community worldwide should actively embrace and sustain the spirit of the emerging social entrepreneurship. For example, entrepreneurial development in Nigerian higher institutions of learning can begin by encouraging the students to replicate the products that have been invented elsewhere in any part of the world while effort is then made to create what the world will also copy from them. This can be attained through community in Malaysia also.
