    The development of a web-based claims system
    (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2009) ; ;
    The main purpose of this study is to develop a computer system for University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) staff to make claims via electronic media. Since this system is Web-based, staff can make claims anywhere, anytime and at any locations. This method can overcome not only human errors but also more efficient, fast and accurate. Therefore, this system can also save time, effort, and administrative costs. In this study, active server pages (ASP) has been chosen to make the calculation and also to generate reports. After the system has been developed, a test was conducted using forms that have been simulated manually. The purpose is to enable the researcher to make comparison with the ones made using the developed system in order to detect errors or flaws from the manual simulation in the system.

Consequently, the potential factors of social media advertising avoidance have appeared as a significant focus of research to offer insights that may come out with the effective ways to reduce social media advertising avoidance. Therefore, the aim of this research is to study about the determinants of social media advertising avoidance in the context of university students. This research analyzed the demographic information, descriptive results, strength of each independent variables towards the dependent variable. Generally, this research is a quantitative study. Pilot test is conducted for 30 respondents and all the variables obtain Cronbach’s alpha more than 0.7 which is acceptable. Simple random sampling technique is applied in this study for data collection as well. 370 sets of questionnaires are distributed to the UniMAP students to collect data. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20 is used to evaluate data of this research. Under the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, this study finds out that the independent variables of goal impediment, privacy concern and negative experience are related to advertising avoidance positively whereas perceived personalization is related to advertising avoidance negatively. Therefore, this research suggests to the marketers to personalize the social media advertising so that the consumers will less likely to avoid the advertisement. This research suggests the future researchers to get more sample size in order to obtain a better and precise results.

    The topic of mobile payment and electronic wallet has been a rising topic since 1984. Since 2003, many scholars are being actively producing articles pertinent to this topic. Most of the articles have been published in journals, and primary language used for research is English. Objective of this paper is to investigate mobile payment and electronic wallet through bibliometric analysis. Sources of publication, authorship, citations, distributions publications and other bibliometric indicators are also analyzed in this paper. This study is focused on a total of 1348 published articles between 1984 and 2021. The articles have been automatically collected through a process from the established Scopus database and then later analyzed with bibliometric indicators analysis techniques. Since 1984, the topic of mobile payment and electronic wallet has been emerged. Beginning in 2003, many articles pertinent to this topic have been actively producing by the scholars. Journals is where most of the articles were published in, and English is the main language used in their publications. China leads other country in publications contribution. In the meantime, the most significant areas in which the sources have been produced were Computer Science, Business, Management & Accounting, Engineering, Social Sciences, Economics, Econometrics and Finance, Decision Sciences, and Mathematics. Though, there are still some limitations were found. For future research, we proposed to lengthen this work to other databases by adding a new keyword such as e-money, as well as bibliometric analysis of mobile payment and electronic wallet in developed and developing countries. This paper presents the latest trends in expansion of academic literature on mobile payment and electronic wallet that uses the bibliometric analysis method. Bibliometric indicators are being used in this paper to present the results.

Primary data were collected through questionnaire by using 5-point likert scale in order to investigate our research objective. 268 sets of questionnaire were collected from University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) students. The SPSS was used to analyse the descriptive analysis, reliability test, multiple regression and Pearson correlation analysis. The result show that the there are two significant factor that influence green purchasing behaviour towards ecological product among students that is social influence and environmental attitude but not significant factor is environmental concern. Thus, this study also suggested future research could be done, whereby researcher could get larger sample size and by doing sample using actual purchaser of ecological product to improve the understanding of green purchasing behaviour.

By using the questionnaire survey, a quantitative approach was used. The questionnaires consist of 21 questions, including the profile of the respondents. The data collected was analysed using the SPSS software and the findings show a positive significant relationship between each of the variables that are babysitter's factors (babysitter's qualification with r=0.506 and p<0.01, babysitter's behaviour with r=0.506 and p<0.01 and babysitter's practice with r=0.303 and p<0.01) towards the satisfaction of the parent. The analysis of reliability, descriptive, correlation and regression were included in the running of the data. Therefore, on the basis of the research findings, the researcher suggests that the childcare centre should continuously improve its services, particularly in terms of qualification, behaviour and practice of babysitters.

    ;
    E-commerce is in rapid growth nowadays. An SME has to adopt e-commerce in order to continue surviving in an intensely competitive environment. However, it was showed that there is a slow succession from the use of e-commerce among tourism-based SMEs in Melaka, Malaysia. As a result, this research is carried out to identify the factors of e-commerce adoption. Technology, Organization, and Environment (TOE) Framework by Tornatzky, Fleischer, and Chakrabarti and Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) Theory by Rogers were used in this research to explain the independent variables in affecting e-commerce adoption. Along with, this research also analyzed the demographic information, descriptive results, strength of each independent variable towards the dependent variables. Generally, this research is a quantitative study. 15 respondents were selected in the pilot test. All the variables are excellent reliability due to the Cronbach’s alpha of more than 0.80. Convenience sampling technique was being chosen to collect our research data. The questionnaire was distributed to 118 respondents of tourism-based Small and Medium Enterprises (TSMEs) in Melaka, Malaysia. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data of this research. From the result of Regression Analysis, it was found out that technological context, organizational context, environmental context, and individual context have a positive relationship with e-commerce adoption. Therefore, the organizations are able to increase their e-commerce performance by verifying the factors in their e-commerce system. This research suggests the future researchers to replicate the study in other industries or the other states in Malaysia which involved a bigger size of the population to make the result more generalize and increase its accuracy. Future researchers also may distribute the questionnaire by visit personally to the SMEs rather than the online distributive survey in order to have a faster response from the respondents.

    The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the quality of healthcare services by investigating the factors affecting patient satisfaction and predictors in private hospitals in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia based on three service quality dimensions of the SERVQUAL which Responsiveness, Reliability, and Tangibility. A modified SERVQUAL questionnaire was used using random sampling to gather the research data and the respondents are consisted of 204 public and outside patients who are prior to the onset of the investigation. Pilot test is conducted for 54 respondents and all the variables obtain Cronbach's Alpha more than 0.7 which is acceptable. Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) is used to evaluate data of this research. The results of the study revealed that the perceived healthcare services in private hospitals do not significantly vary. The dimension of responsiveness was rated the highest while tangibility was perceived as the least important of the three SERVQUAL dimensions applied in this study. Therefore, this research suggests to use more dimensions of service quality theories and bigger samplings to obtain better results and may be used to contribute in enhancing the quality of healthcare services of private hospitals in Penang, Malaysia and in other similar environments.
