PublicationAssessment of patient satisfaction in a healthcare setting; Doctor-patient communication issues( 2020-06-17)This study aims to better recognize patient satisfaction in healthcare settings about communication issues. There are affiliation styles and control styles used to explore the effectiveness of patient satisfaction. This study was conducted among outpatient clinics at Hospital Seberang Jaya, Penang. Data analysis was conducted using statistical package for social sciences students SPSS 13. Purposive sampling is used to obtain a total of 115 patients responded to this survey. Pearson correlation used in this study and show that affiliation style had significant positive relationships with patient satisfaction. While no relationship between control communication style and patient satisfaction. This study contributes to the development of health services in Malaysia.

PublicationThe study of socio-demographic variables on youths' patriotism using non-experimental design( 2023-04-24)Othman N.Z.The objectives of this study is to examine sociodemographic as variables of youth patriotism tendencies in Malaysia. The total population was 3107 while the sample was 351 which was selected through simple random sampling method (N=351). This survey study used a questionnaire constructed using adaptations from previous studies. Study findings were analysed using T-Test and ANOVA to obtain and compare mean values. In general from the 351 respondents, 29.1% of the respondents were male youth compared to 70.9 % of female youth. Respondents aged less than 20 years were 15.7 %, 21 to 22 years was 65.8 %, 23 to 25 years was 17.9 % and 26 to 28 years was 0.6 per cent. Almost half of the respondents are Malays (44.4%) Chinese (9.5%), India (4.4%) and other ethnic groups (4.1%). Therefore, Muslim respondents also showed a higher percentage than other religions (45.9%). The results of data analysis show that there is a significant difference between the tendency of patriotism with gender, ethnicity, religion and parental employment.

PublicationAnalyse the impact of health services in Malaysia by using SPSS( 2020-06-17)This study aims to analyse the impact of health service in Malaysia. A descriptive study was designed using survey method. This study was conducted under government hospital in Penang. Data were collected using statistical package for social sciences SPSS. A total of n = 115 patient responded to this survey. This study showed that access to services, have a positive relationship with patient satisfaction. Access to services are acknowledge as key determinants to improve health services quality in Malaysia.

PublicationCyber-Bullying Trends Using Social Media Platform: An Analysis through Malaysian Perspectives( 2020-06-17)
;Bakar A.R.A.In modern era, existing technologies have gone through several phases of innovation and development in line with today's demand. These changes in positive manners facilitate and ease us in many things that were previously thought difficult to solve. As these technologies progress, social media has emerged as one of many preferable platforms of communication in today's society. However, in the light of today's obsession with social media, society particularly tends to apprehends in negative cultures such as cyberbullying. In the past, bullying behavior occurred only at certain ages in certain places such as among teenagers, women, at work or school. At that time bullying could be seen either physically or verbally compared to today's approach attributed significantly with the use of social media due to the modernization of technologies. Many psychoanalysis issues resulting from these irresponsible individuals throwing words at the cyberbullying victims are becoming a millennial disease. Evidences prove that there is no discrimination in cyberbullying as it applies to all individuals regardless of their status and background. Hence, it is time for the government to intervene and address this issues arising from the act of bullying. -
PublicationPembelajaran dalam talian: gaya kepimpinan dan kepuasan kerja guruKajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan gaya kepimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja dalam kalangan guru yang mengendalikan pembelajaran dalam talian semasa pandemik Covid-19. Gaya kepimpinan yang dikaji ialah gaya kepimpinan transformasi, gaya kepimpinan transaksi dan gaya kepimpinan Laissez Faire. Data dikumpul melalui kaedah kuantitatif dengan mengedarkan borang soal selidik. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 102 orang guru sekolah kerajaan di Pulau Pinang. Kajian dianalisis menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Social sciences (SPSS) untuk mendapatkan Nilai Korelasi Pearson. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepimpinan transformasi, gaya transaksi dan gaya kepimpinan Laissez-Faire dengan kepuasan kerja dalam kalangan guru.

PublicationTeacher's view on leadership style and job satisfaction handling online learning during COVID-19 in Malaysia( 2023-06-12)Othman N.Z.The covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on teachers and students contributing to stress among them. Among the challenges for teachers when conducting teaching and learning activities from home are internet accessibility, teaching aids, support from parents and school leadership concerns. The leadership aspect is seen to be one of the challenges among teachers and this needs to be examined at the leadership level. Therefore, the role of the leader is important to ensure that all leadership approaches that can be highlighted can provide satisfaction among teachers. This study aimed to look at teachers' views on the leadership style practiced and the level of job satisfaction of teachers when conducting online teaching and learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 102 teachers in Penang were selected using simple random sampling technique as respondents in this study. The findings of the study show that all three leadership styles practiced are at a high level. Transformational leadership styles obtained a mean value of 4.08, while transformational and laissez-faire leadership styles obtained the same mean value of 3.71. The findings also show that job satisfaction is at a high level with a mean value of 4.04. The findings of this study are expected to be used as a guide to administrators, teachers and also the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE).

The leadership styles studied were transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and Laissez Faire leadership style. Data were collected through quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires. The respondents of the study consisted of 102 government school teachers in Seberang Perai District, Penang. The study was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social sciences (SPSS) software to obtain Pearson Correlation Value. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership style, transactional style and Laissez-Faire leadership style with job satisfaction among teachers.

PublicationAnalyse the impact of physician technical skills on health services quality in Malaysia by using SPPSS( 2020-06-17)The objective of this study is to examine the relationship of the physician technical skills with patient's satisfaction. This study was conducted at the Penang mainland general hospital under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Data was collected using questionnaires to n=115 outpatients who attended the hospital clinics except for psychiatric clinic. The finding in this study has proven that there was a strong relationship between technical skills by physicians and patient's satisfaction. Physician technical skills are seen as key determinants to improve health services quality in Malaysia.

Ini dapat dibuktikan apabila muzik popular Korea yang dihasilkan oleh ramai penyanyi di Korea telah terbukti berjaya menempa nama sehingga ke peringkat antarabangsa. Antara contoh kejayaan adalah menerusi Lisa daripada anggota kumpulan ‘Blackpink’ yang telah mencetuskan fenomena pada tahun 2021 apabila muzik video ‘Lalisa’ telah dinobatkan sebagai muzik video yang mendapat tontonan paling tinggi dalam masa 24 jam di dunia. Oleh itu, dengan menggunakan sampel terhadap muzik video ‘Lalisa’, kajian ini ingin melihat apakah representasi identiti dan budaya yang telah dipaparkan Lisa dalam muzik video ini dengan menggunakan landasan Teori Norma Budaya daripada Melvin De Fleur (1970). Kajian ini juga telah menggunakan kaedah kualitatif analisis tekstual dan mendapati bahawa, walaupun Lisa merupakan penyanyi yang telah menempa nama di Korea Selatan dan dikenali seluruh dunia, namun identiti dan budaya asalnya sebagai anak kelahiran Thailand tetap dikekalkan dan dipromosikan kepada dunia melalui muzik video ini. Ini sekaligus membuktikan bahawa Lisa bukan sahaja seorang penyanyi yang mempunyai nilai patriotism yang tinggi malah juga mempamerkan imej yang amat baik dengan tidak melupakan asal usul beliau.1 6 -
PublicationThe effect of addictive social media use among teenagers( 2023-06-12)Erna N.A.Social media addiction can be viewed as one form of Internet addiction, where individuals exhibit a compulsion to use social media to excess. Individuals with social media addiction are often overly concerned about social media and are driven by an uncontrollable urge to log on to and use social media. This paper will discuss about the effect of addictive social media use among teenagers. In addition, matters relating to social media use among teenagers will also be discussed, such as the factors and impact of social media addiction. This is necessary because all parties, especially parents, need to play their role so that this problem becomes worse.
