    Performance evaluation on locomotion system, body size and hull design on amphibious-based design of unmanned ground vehicle using Taguchi method
    Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) is a robotic structured-based vehicle that operated on the ground but did not contain any human on board. It controlled either autonomously or remote controlled by a human operator from a distance. The operator observes the situation by using a camera that contains live feed that had been attached to the UGV. More advanced version of UGV is called "Autonomous UGV", where it controlled fully by sensors system. Thus, make this version of UGV highly reliable in replacing human for doing jobs in hazardous area or a place that is impossible for human to reach. This paper study the performance evaluation of UGV in term of their locomotion system, body size and hull design by using Taguchi method. The current UGV design under study is less flexible as it only operates on land. The objective of this study is to identify the optimal design parameters of the UGV towards amphibious functionality development. This study bridge the gap between engineering and management perspectives in reducing the time needed to perform testing on new design and reducing cost of experiment by using the Taguchi Method. The result shows that the ideal parameters design combination based on the signal-to-noise ratio calculated using the larger the better formula is the wheeled locomotion system with 350 X 250 X 200 dimension of body size and round-bottom shape of hull design.

    Review Study of Image De-Noising on Digital Image Processing and Applications
    This paper reviews several studies of image de-noising on digital image processing and applications. Noisy images contain different noise that exist either due to environment or electronic interferences. Ergo, de-noising is crucial to eliminate the noise that disturb data collecting process. The impact of de-noising on image processing can result for accurate and precise data collected from the image. Additionally, de-noising process required several crucial steps that help to enhance knowledge on digital image and its application. Hence, study and understanding de-noising can improve multiple aspect such as image quality, data sensitivity and specificity, accuracy of the collected data, and increase the percentage of each parameter.

    Introduction To Ordinary Differential Equation
    This book is intended for students who want to learn about calculus and differential equations in great depth. The core contents of the book discuss about the ‘ First Order and Second Order Differential Equation’. These two (2) chapters provide the students with a lot of examples together with solution methods. Meanwhile, ‘Laplace Transform’ topic introduces the students to an optional method other than the First Order or the Second Order Differential Equation, ‘Fourier Series’ topic discusses about the periodic function of Fourier Series where the techniques from the earlier chapters such as graphs, differentiation and integration will be adapted in this book. Basically, this book provides the basic knowledge of engineering mathematics in order to increase the comprehension of the students in term of differentiation, integration and periodic functions of series. By providing a lot of examples and exercise questions, the author hope this book may increase the understanding level and help the students to solve the questions and at the same time help them to use the theories and concepts which have been learnt to apply in their daily routine problems.

    Bioeconomy sustainability integrating circular economy principles with big data and IoT for sustainable farming in agriculture 4.0
    This concept paper explores the synergy between Bioeconomy sustainability and advanced technologies, specifically the integration of circular economy principles with big data and the Internet of Things (IoT), in the context of sustainable farming within Agriculture 4.0 in Malaysia. Despite limited understanding, the study aims to unveil the potential benefits of this integration and assess the current state of technology adoption, bioeconomic practices, and sustainable farming in Malaysia. Challenges faced by Malaysian farmers, such as awareness gaps and resistance to change, are identified, and strategies, including targeted education and financial incentives, are proposed to overcome these barriers. While acknowledging potential limitations in universality due to data access constraints and the dynamic nature of technology and agriculture, the study emphasizes the importance of integrating these innovative approaches to propel Malaysian agriculture toward sustainability within the Agriculture 4.0 framework.

    Slow-moving product is harmful to the business. The slow-moving products take up space and tie up the company’s capital and leave the company with fewer funds to invest in its business. Several factors can cause this issue. There are several methods ranging from statistics to heuristic methods for a company to identify slow-moving inventory but all of them rely on data. In this paper, a partitioning technique from the graph network is proposed to partition the inventories or products into a few clusters. It can help the company to identify what group does the product belongs to and at the same time suggest to the company which product can be paired up or bundled up together to clear up aging and slow-moving products. The partition technique is proposed, and the algorithm is coded using the Visual C++ programming language. The simulation results show that the proposed method can partition the task graph onto smaller subgraphs. The subgraphs called cluster consists of the nodes or products with similar purchase volume (the strong connection between the two nodes). Implementing the partitioning technique could help the companies or managers select the appropriate product to be paired together when doing the promotion.

    Soft computing for hazardous waste routing in Malaysia: a review
    (Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science (IAES), 2023) ;
    Syariza Abdul Rahman
    ;
    Nowadays, a significant number of researchers are focusing on utilizing soft computing approaches to address the issue of scheduling in applications concerned with hazardous waste management. In Malaysia, there is thoughtless awareness of the management of hazardous waste, even though the production of wastes in hazardous domains at the industrial and domestic levels has been rising lately. According to previous research findings, the location routing problem (LRP) can be designated as one of the models closer to the actual situation, evaluating the most suitable and optimal location for establishing facilities and utilizing transportation for pick-up and distribution. Recent studies have focused on enhancing the LRP model, and its methodologies approach to solve the waste management problem in hazardous domains. In this paper, a comprehensive review of the better promising and practicable mathematical model of LRP and its methodology approach is discussed, as well as an analysis of the publishing pattern and the trend of research over the preceding five years and more, as retrieved from the web of science (WoS) database. In conclusion, this research is significant in ensuring the effectiveness of reliable mathematical model development and suitable methodologies in the future for solving hazardous waste management problems.
