A review of diesel spray research
The following literature review provides an overview of research and a summary of the most condition that relevant to the present study. The overview focuses on such parameter such as the effect of ambient condition (density and temperature), the effect of fuel injection, the effect of injection pressure, the effect of mass fuel and effect of nozzle diameter that probably effects into the droplets distribution, sprays evaporation and mixture formation of diesel spray. The preferred format has been choosing to allow an easier scanning and classification which intend to summarize the relevant topic and study regarding the diesel spray fields.

    RF harvester for DC supply
This project focuses on the design of 2GHz rectenna for harvesting RF signal. This 2GHz signal is from a 3G signal and ISM band that is easy to be found in town areas. The rectenna comprises an array of rectangular patch of microstrip antenna, power combiner and voltage multiplier. Patch antenna was designed using a CST Microwave Studio 2012. The following parameters: return loss, bandwidth, radiation pattern, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), input impedance and antenna polarization were obtained from simulation. The power combiner circuit was designed using a Wilkinson power splitter. A power combiner for six stages and 64 inputs was proposed, designed and evaluated. The performance was done by simulation using ADS 2009 software. Two multipliers, three and six stages voltage multiplier were designed and evaluated using the same software. After designing and simulating, the following results were obtained. The designed antenna was simulated and it obtained 44.4dB of return loss with 400MHz of bandwidth, 1.01:1 of VSWR, 50Ω input impedance and 6.202dBi of directivity for the radiation pattern. A full analytical study of power combiner was done and simulation results are presented. The design of the power combiner obtained a 9dB output gain for three stages power combiner. A six-stage voltage multiplier has been simulated and it had a 3.901V of output voltage for the input voltage of 1V. The power produced by the harvester is 20mA. However, there were some harmonics shown by the ripples on the graph. The ripples can be reduced by adding the capacitor of a higher value. In conclusion, the proposed designs have been successfully designed and the simulated results have been obtained within the specifications.

Liquid Composition Identification and Characteristic Measurement Using Ultrasonic Transmission Technique via Neural Network
This project is to determine the composition of liquids solvent by using the ultrasonic frequency signal from echoscope scan machine. The transmission technique of ultrasonic signal is focused. On the research experiment, studies on mixing of distilled water with control sodium chloride (Kitchen Salt), kitchen sugar and monosodium glutamate (MSG). The Parameters such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) which is the parameters are using to identify the ratio of composition of liquid solvent. The feature extraction of median, average and root mean square (RMS) from FFT is represented with different result analysis such as sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, Area under curve, kappa, F-measure and precision. The results performed more than 90% with Neural Network.

Development of fault distance locator for underground cable detection
This project proposes fault distance locator model for underground power cable using an Arduino uno. The use of underground cables arise a problem of identifying the fault location and the distance of cable fault as it is not open to view as in case of overhead cable. Thus, the underground cable fault distance locator is develop to detect the exact fault location and the distance of underground cable fault from based station in kilometers as the system will detect the faulted cable on underground and will send the information to the control room by using a relay. An underground cable system is a common practice followed in major urban area. The concepts of Ohm's law are used in this project and are placed underground with short circuit type fault condition. If any fault occurs, the voltage drop will vary depending on the length of fault in cable since the current varies. Tracer method is used to detect faulted by walk through the cable lines. Fault point is traced by the audible signal or electromagnetic signal. These projects are equipped with a set of resistors, power supply, a set of switches, Arduino Uno and LCD. The prototype of an underground cable fault distance locator is designed with the performance of Tracer method.
