    Bahasa Melayu dimertabatkan, Bahasa Inggeris dipertingkatkan: satu kupasan dalam konteks pengajian tinggi
    Bahasa menjadi wadah utama sebagai alat komunikasi dalam menghubungkan sesuatu bangsa dan tamadun. Bahasa juga menunjukkan taraf sesuatu bangsa itu. Bahasa Melayu suatu ketika dahulu menjadi bahasa utama dan menjadi alat penghubung di Nusantara. Justeru itu usaha memartabatkan bahasa Melayu perlu diteruskan dan di modenisasikan. Dalam dunia yang kian mencabar penggunaan bahasa Melayu perlu diperluaskan di peringkat sekolah sehingga Institusi Pengajian Tinggi. Usaha ini bukan hanya diarahkan kepada penggiat bahasa sahaja malah ianya perlu digerakkan secara menyeluruh. Kemajuan sesebuah negara bukanlah bergantung kepada penggunaan bahasa Inggeris sahaja, jika tidak mana mungkin negara-negara seperti Jepun, Perancis, Jerman dan lain-lain lagi boleh menguasai teknologi dunia dengan menggunakan bahasa mereka sendiri. Dalam hal ini tindakan memperkayakan dan memperbanyakkan kosa kata bahasa diperlukan bagi mewujudkan daya saing Bahasa Melayu di peringkat antarabangsa. Justeru strategi menyeluruh dan jitu perlu dilakukan bagi merealisasikan hasrat ini. Dalam usaha memartabatkan bahasa Melayu, bahasa Inggeris tidak kita lupakan kerana ianya kini menjadi bahasa utama di peringkat antarabangsa. Usaha meningkatkan penguasaan bahasa Inggeris turut dilaksanakan secara komprehensif.

    Factors affecting customers satisfaction in online shopping

    This research attempted to find out the factors that are affecting customers’ intention and satisfaction to shop online. To shop on Internet becomes an alternative for consumers since it is more comfortable than conventional shopping which usually attributed with anxious, crowded, traffic jam, limited time, parking space and etc. Internet in Malaysia is still considered as a new medium toll between the retailers and the consumers, and also retaining customers on e-retail is the most issue that is faced any e-retail store. To increase the understanding in this area, the following questions need correct answers. Are Malaysians ready to embrace Internet shopping? In addition, this study intends to know the reasons, why Malaysian customers accept or refuse internet shopping application? And what are dominant predictors that influence the customers’ intention to shop on internet in Perlis, Malaysia? This research adopted survey by questionnaire approach. Questionnaires will be distributed among general public including student at the university to gauge their intention to shop online. Findings of this research will provide a yardstick to customer satisfaction and online shopping based on various issues such as advertisement, brand, shopping experience, time, trust etc

    Social mediated crisis communication model: a solution for social media crisis?
    This Concept Paper discussed organizational crisis especially social media crisis. The existence of social media makes it difficult for organizations to manage emerging crises. This concept paper is written to explain about crisis management based on the Social Mediated Crisis Communication (SMCC) model. The main purpose of this paper is to see the extent to which it can help in crisis management, especially in organizations. There is an explanation on the addition and simplification of the SMCC model to better facilitate the organization in crisis management and its main focus is through social media. Social media plays an important role when a crisis occurs because of its interactive nature compared to traditional media. The methodology based on previous studies explains the qualitative method used in the description of the addition and simplification of the SMCC model. The result of the concept of this paper is about crisis management especially social media crisis with the use of SMCC model.

    The influence of YouTubers among teenagers: a study in Johore, Malaysia
    These days, teenagers are brought up in a time of smartphones and do not recall a period before social media. They are viewed as good examples and are regularly perceived in the streets by their fans. In any case, in spite of being well known online, outside the YouTube community they are simply an average individual that could be the person living nearby. Parents regularly do not think about the online behavior of their children and the YouTubers they embrace. The aim of this research is to give an overview of the current YouTube community, including what types of YouTubers will attract teenagers and what influence of YouTubers among teenagers in Johor Bahru, Johor. This study is qualitative research that uses indepth interviews to collect data. Participants for this study consists of Malaysia teenagers specifically from Johor Bahru. There are nine participants aged between 16 to 20 years old. They are selected based on a multiracial concept which is Malay, Indian and Chinese. The finding shows that there are four types of YouTubers that attract teenagers in Johor Bahru, Johor. Meanwhile, finding from this research also shows that there are six main influences of YouTubers among teenagers in Johor Bahru, Johor which consist of positive and negative influences.
