Performance power evaluation of DC fan cooling system for PV panel by using ANSYS CFX
A research has been conducted to find the optimum combination for DC fan air cooling system of photovoltaic (PV) panel. During normal operation of PV panel, it is estimated that only 15 % of solar radiation is converted into electrical energy. Meanwhile, the rest of the solar radiation is converted into heat energy which affects the performance of the PV panel. Therefore, the aim of this research is to investigate the performance power evaluation of DC fan cooling system for PV panel by using ANSYS CFX. The effect of airflow configuration of DC fan has been investigated. This is to analyze whether the airflow circulation of DC fan cause a change towards the maximum temperature of PV panel. Besides, the impact of varying number of DC fans attached at the back of PV panel is evaluated. The result of airflow circulation of DC fan has been discussed. Meanwhile, with the increment number of DC fans, the PV panel temperature drops significantly. As a conclusion, the optimum number of DC fans is two with the combination of inlet airflow.

Assessment of cooling photovoltaic-wind hybrid power controller system for AC load application in tropical climate condition
This research looks at the assessment of cooling photovoltaic (PV)-wind hybrid power controller system for alternating current (AC) load application in tropical climate condition. It has four objectives in order to fulfill the requirement of this research. Firstly, the study of the potential PV and wind power generation in Perlis has been discussed. The data of solar radiation and wind speed were measured at the Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy (CERE), University Malaysia Perlis in Perlis, Malaysia. The average of solar radiation for the past three years (2011 to 2013) is higher than 3 kWh/m2 which indicates that Perlis is suitable for solar power technology application. Secondly, a new model based on wind direction data in order to estimate the wind speed has been proposed. The development of the theory of circular-linear functional relationship model via circular-linear regression model proposed by Mardia (1976) when both variables are subject to errors are presented. The model has fitted the data quite well by assuming that both variables of the unreplicated circular-linear functional relationship model are subject to errors. This indicates that the proposed method is acceptable and applicable. Third, the temperature of PV module increases when it absorbs solar radiation, causing the decrement of efficiency. Therefore, the proposed topology of PV automatic cooling system is designed, constructed and experimentally researched within this study in order to overcome this challenge. To reduce the PV module surface temperature, direct current (DC) cooling system was designed using three methods which are DC brushless fan, DC water pump and DC hybrid brushless fan with DC water pump. They will make the air movement and water flow circulation at the back side and front side of PV module, respectively. Four temperature sensors were installed on the PV module to detect its surface temperature.

A brief review of the EMF interaction: Metal implantation and biological tissues
In analyzing the near field for a device, such as a mobile phone used in close proximity to tissues, it is difficult to predict the electromagnetic field (EMF) and other characteristics, since certain parts of the mobile phone scatter and reflect the EMF. Moreover, the absorption of EMF in the lossy tissues mitigates as the radio frequency (RF) energy is absorbed by the tissue. In order to minimize the heating effect on human tissue caused by this absorption of RF energy by the human body, all communications equipment (CE) must comply with the guidelines that established the maximum power output of devices. Though RF emissions from CE are carefully measured, the probability exists that the RF characteristics are reformed somewhat when tissue that illuminated by RF energy embedded with implant, thereby increasing the specific absorption rate (SAR). The SAR is the fundamental metric for specifying RF absorption by tissues and it can be calculated at any location in the tissue.

Simulation study on photovoltaic panel temperature under different solar radiation using computational fluid dynamic method
The electrical production is the primary performance of any solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The PV panel operating temperature is inversely proportional to the electrical production of the PV panel. The operating temperature of PV panel is influenced by solar radiation absorbed and the ambient temperature. In the present work, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method is used to investigate a three-dimensional (3-D) model of a PV panel. It is also essential to estimate the thermal behaviour of the PV panel under various environmental conditions. The primary purpose of this current work is to analyse temperature distribution from the PV panel under given operating conditions. The model geometry is built by using CATIA design software. ANSYS software was simulated the different intensity of solar radiation that applied to the PV panel in order to observe the temperature distribution on each layers of the PV panel. The ambient temperature of the simulation is fixed 35C according to the maximum ambient temperature captured in Malaysia. The simulation results show that an increase in solar radiation intensity along with the PV panel operating temperature increase.

Technologies of solar tracking systems: A review
Solar energy is abundantly in nature and sustainable energy resources around the world. The main challenge with the solar field is less amount of sun energy captured by using photovoltaic (PV) systems. The great performance of the PV systems can be achieved if the panel is kept perpendicular to the direction of the radiations of sun. Hence, solar tracker system is the method to keep the optimum position of the PV panel for always perpendicular to the solar radiation. This paper aims to review on various technologies of solar tracking to determine the best PV panel orientation. The various types of technologies of solar tracking system have been discussed which includes passive solar tracker, active solar tracker and chronological tracker system. The movement degrees of solar tracking system also have been addressed which consisting single-axis solar tracking system and dual-axis solar tracking system. This paper is also overviews the tracking techniques performance, construction, performance, advantages, and disadvantages of existing solar tracking system. The limitations of solar tracking systems are also highlighted for future action improvement. Through this research studies, the most favorable solar tracking system was identified as active solar tracker with the dual axis rotation.

Comparative Study of Three Methods for Determining Weibull Parameters in Pauh Putra, Perlis
This paper studied about analysis characteristics of wind speed at Pauh Putra, Perlis, where nearest to Chuping station, Perlis, Malaysia. The wind speed characteristics consist of monthly and annual wind speed in Perlis, Malaysia. By using Weibull distribution, three different methods to calculate the potential of wind power generation and analysis the characteristics of wind speed at Pauh Putra, Perlis. The results present the means wind speed is 1.0790 m/s and 1.1321 m/s for 2018 and 2019, respectively. The highest monthly mean wind speed occurred in February for both years, 2018 and 2019. Besides, the lowest monthly wind speed for 2018 in May and for 2019 in October. The Weibull distribution summarized the highest probability density is 120% in the wind speed, 1.1 m/s using the Maximum Likelihood Method (MLM) method for these two years. Furthermore, this research found that the Energy Pattern Factor (EPF) Method is stretched to the right, and its height decreased from other methods for both years based on the graph of the wind speed of probability density function. The Maximum Likelihood Method (MLM) for these two years is higher because its shape parameters are relatively higher based on the graph of the wind speed of probability density function.

Inrush current in the simplest form can also be determined as current drawn by an induction motor during startup period. This starting current will shoot up about 5 to 7 times the rated current. However, this high current usually occur in the starting period only. To overcome this, several techniques can be implemented to reduce the high current. The configuration of soft starter just involving some power semiconductor device act as switches that control the current flow from power source to the motor. The switches is in form of thyristor and are connected back-to-back because the system conduct in AC system. The current output can be controlled by varying the firing angle. This changing of firing angle will be managed by a firing angle control circuit. This soft starter was connected between power source and motor. The thyristors that built in soft starter act like a gate to control the voltage applied to the motor. The firing angle for current limitation soft starter was changed to several angle and what can be concluded that the high current succeed to mitigate with increasing the firing angle. The current drawn for this type of starter is steadily constant. The lower current during starting took longer time for motor to reach its rated speed. This type of starter successfully reduces inrush current about 42 percent. Finally what can be concluded is that the soft starter was proven to mitigate inrush current. Type of soft starter that going to implement is depending on the application of motor. When the application need to control the torque is more suitable to use current limitation soft starter because the current is steadily control.

Fish farming is a job that many Indonesian people do, especially in villages. The nature of fish that is able to adapt quickly to transfer from pond to pond makes many residents choose to breed fish over other livestock. Many types of fish can be cultivated well, but most people choose to cultivate goldfish. Goldfish have an economic value that is quite tempting for the community. There are some fish that have a higher economic value, but people are more extra in maintaining them, for example in terms of feed. Goldfish can be fed only when the sun is hot. If the sun does not come out, then the goldfish should not be fed because it can cause the fish to die. Besides that, goldfish only need water flowing into the pond for fish oxygen. The number of people who breed fish, there are also many irresponsible people. The reason is, when the fish begin to grow up, many fish begin to disappear, making people nervous and hot. Based on the above problems, it provides a very potential opportunity to create a tool that can overcome community unrest. Fish farming theft detection tool which is an innovative tool to overcome or find out the perpetrators of theft. Thus, hopefully the tools used can reduce the risk of stealing fish and reduce the losses of fish cultivators.
