Electrical Vehicle (EV) is the new potential of vehicles that can solve the issues of current transportation such the air pollution, global warming, and the lack of oil supplies. However, this EV still addressed some technical problems such as unbalanced current injection to the drive motor system, especially the integrated Solar EV system. The unstable current generation from the PV system and the current injection to the drive system has many factors. One of the methods to stabilize the current trajectories in the system is by applying the closed-loop control of the Proportional Integral (PI) controller to gain feedback on non-sinusoidal current patterns in the system. The distorted current pattern can be resolved and compensate thru the fine PI tuning and improve the current pattern and resulting in a stable current injection and reduce the harmonic content supplied to the AC drive system. The operation and feasibility of the system is analyzed and validated through experimental results.
