Abstract
Risk management provides an idea or method to top management in creating a successful approach to addressing the risks inherent in an organisation. Risk management is the act of identifying opportunities for maximizing risk management and minimizing any risks that may arise while implementing processes within the organisation. In this study, risk management is a method of measuring and solving problems that can identify, evaluate and conduct research at each risk and maximize success and minimize problems involving high risk in the future that occur within an organisation. The objective of the study is to identify the relationship between the critical success factor of risk management toward safety and health performance in manufacturing industry. The risk of workplace accidents is increasing and the manufacturing sector is among the most at risk for workplace accidents in terms of permanent disability, permanent disability and death. This research is quantitative method and used questionnaire to collect data. Total 267 questionnaires were distributed in manufacturing companies in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Based on the regression analysis result, there is significant relationship between critical success factors of risk management towards safety and health performance in manufacturing industry.
