; ;Chuthamas ChittithawornThe unavailability of external financing and lack of access to formal finance are topics of significant research interest to academicians and important issues to policy makers around the globe. However compared to large firms, SMEs frequently tend to report financing as amajor obstacle. The financial constraints of SMEs to access to finance are beyond question by many researchers. Thus, this study attempts to discuss the factors that lead to influence financial institutions in lending technologies to provide finance to SMEs in Malaysia. The methodologies on the relationship between the requirements of financial institutional and the type of lending technologies provided for SMEs is illustrate. This conceptual paper is aimed to improved the theoretical parts of analysis, on the factors influencing Financial Institutions on lending technologies to technology-based SMEs in the northern region of Malaysia and identify the challenges issues regarding the requirements of financial providers based on the lending technologies adoption, be it transaction lending or relationship lending. Furthermore, the methodologies will also be able to assist researchers to get more information on the unique needs for finance of SMEs and tailor the finance providers’ requirements to be SMEs friendlier i.e. better meet SMEs ability and needs in order to achieve win-win situation. -

; ; ;Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor–faktor yang mempengaruhi remaja lelaki dan perempuan Melayu dalam menentukan identiti diri mereka. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara rawak. Responden dipilih dalam kalangan remaja Melayu dan merupakan pelajar dalam bidang kejuruteraan dan perniagaan, dari tahun satu sehinggalah tahun empat. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah soal selidik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan “Statistical Package For The Social Sciences”(SPSS). Responden yang terlibat dalam kajian ini merupakan pelajar-pelajar Melayu di Universiti Malaysia Perlis yang berumur dalam lingkungan umur 19-25 tahun. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan yang positif di antara faktor-faktor pengaruh ibu bapa, ekonomi, rakan sebaya, pendidikan dan media massa dengan pembentukan identiti diri pelajar lelaki Melayu. Sebaliknya bagi pelajar wanita perhubungan positif hanya wujud di antara faktor-faktor pengaruh ibu bapa, pendidikan dan ekonomi dalam pembentukan diri pelajar wanita Melayu.6 22 -

; ; ;Tan Chee LiangKajian ini dibuat untuk melihat kesan faktor demografi terhadap keberkesanan sistem e-pembelajaran. Pelajar-pelajar daripada institusi pengajian tinggi dipilih secara rambang untuk tujuan menilai keberkesanan sistem pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran pelajar. Seterusnya data diproses dengan menggunakan perisian SPSS. Hasil daripada data yang di perolehi menunjukkan bahawa faktor umur, program pengajian dan juga tahap pendidikan pelajar mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan keberkesanan sistem pembelajaran secara elektronik. Oleh itu, dicadangkan agar kajian semula terhadap kaedah penyampaian dalam proses pembelajaran dilakukan sebelum memulakan pengajaran dengan mengambil kira tentang latar belakang pelajar. Perbandingan harus dilakukan antara keberkesanan secara elektronik dan kaedah pembelajaran secara tradisional melalui penilaian pelajar selepas sesi kuliah. Pemeriksaan yang rapi dan teliti harus dilakukan. Pusat pengajian tinggi juga disarankan agar melihat sejauh mana kebolehan pelajar menggunakan teknologi e-pembelajaran sebelum memperkenalkan sistem teknologi pembelajaran dalam talian (online) bagi melihat kemampuan dan kebolehan mereka dalam menggunakan sistem e-pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran mereka.1 16 -
