PublicationDesign of investment detection in fish cultivation uno arduino based( 2022-02-22)
;Arnawan Hasibuan ;Asran Asran ;Rizky Ramadhana SembiringFish farming is a job that many Indonesian people do, especially in villages. The nature of fish that is able to adapt quickly to transfer from pond to pond makes many residents choose to breed fish over other livestock. Many types of fish can be cultivated well, but most people choose to cultivate goldfish. Goldfish have an economic value that is quite tempting for the community. There are some fish that have a higher economic value, but people are more extra in maintaining them, for example in terms of feed. Goldfish can be fed only when the sun is hot. If the sun does not come out, then the goldfish should not be fed because it can cause the fish to die. Besides that, goldfish only need water flowing into the pond for fish oxygen. The number of people who breed fish, there are also many irresponsible people. The reason is, when the fish begin to grow up, many fish begin to disappear, making people nervous and hot. Based on the above problems, it provides a very potential opportunity to create a tool that can overcome community unrest. Fish farming theft detection tool which is an innovative tool to overcome or find out the perpetrators of theft. Thus, hopefully the tools used can reduce the risk of stealing fish and reduce the losses of fish cultivators. -
PublicationThe use of regression method on simple E for estimating electrical energy consumption( 2022-09)
;Arnawan Hasibuan ;Widyana Verawaty Siregar ;Eddy Warman ;Roby FinataM. MursalinThe continuous increase in population growth has an impact on the electrical energy supply. Based on this increase, electric power producers serve customers using proper forecasts. Therefore, it is a necessity to select the right calculation method with easy implementation. In this study, the population forecasts and economic growth calculations using the GT (Growth Trend) regression method development on Simple E were obtained for the year 2028. Furthermore, electricity consumption estimation was carried out using the DL (Double Log) regression method with growth trend, R, AR, DW, and t values of 6.63%, 0.993, 0.992, 1.21, and 2.18, respectively. The results show that estimated energy consumption was 6.63% annually, with the achievable amount for 2028 being 19,839.83 GWh.5 21 -
PublicationPrototype of automatic watering and fertilizing system for oil palm seeds based on internet of things( 2023)
;Muhammad Daud ;Muhammad Yusril Zulfikar ;Arnawan HasibuanWatering and fertilizing are very important to maintain the quality of the oil palm seeds. If the oil palm seeds are not watered regularly the soil will dry out while the oil palm seeds generally need to maintain adequate soil moisture and require a loose textured soil medium. So far, farmers have not optimally fulfilled the needs for water and fertilizer for oil palm seeds because they still use manual and traditional methods. Technological developments have made it possible to create irrigation and fertilization techniques automatically. In this study, a prototype of an automatic watering and fertilizing system was designed and realized for oil palm seedlings using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main controller in addition to RTC, humidity sensors, relays, water pumps, LCDs, and smartphones. RTC is used for fertilization scheduling, humidity sensors to sense soil moisture levels, relays as automatic switches that turn on and off pumps, water pumps to pump water and liquid fertilizer, LCD to display information, and smartphones to monitor conditions and processes of watering and fertilizing coconut seedlings palm. The test results show that the prototype tool can work well. When the soil moisture is read by the humidity sensor less than 30% (dry soil condition) then pump one is activated and when the soil moisture is more than 60% (wet soil condition) then pump one turns off. Furthermore, fertilization can take place according to a predetermined schedule where the second pump will automatically activate with a duration of 20 seconds for each fertilization period.11 10
