For this project, analysis of the redesign of original product hair dryer, the project is focused on the Hair dryers design, size, color, material and cost. Hair dryer are electromechanical device designed to dry the hair. This project is not only intended to analyze its body, but is also recognized as the part, element and component with a systematic function to analyze in detail the innovation method of product system design, which is taken as its concept to carry out the analysis on the component elements of hairdryers and the overall analysis and review of the system design process of hair dryers. Most people are familiar with the daily routine of washing, drying, and styling their hair. Although hair will eventually dry on its own if given enough time, most people reach for a hair dryer to speed up the process. Hair dryer are commonly used and can cause hair damage such as roughness, dryness and loss of hair color. The design of hairdryer is using CAD software and then transfer to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to analyses the capabilities of part design. At the end of this project, this research will give understanding about design using CAD software and do analysis that improved the hairdryer equipment.

Design is the first step in any manufacturing process where the most crucial decisions are made which affect the product's ultimate cost. The researchers used DFMA method in this study to redesign and improve a joystick in order to achieve the goal to decrease the number of parts, handling and insertion time, and improve the design efficiency for a joystick. The main emphasis in this research has been on the design stage of a product development, with a view to accomplishing an optimal design approach for current product.DFMA principles have been used to develop new design ideas and the final design will be evaluate and compared to the current design. In result, the assembly time for redesign then increased by 21 % with a decrease in the assembly time from 294.2s to 232.44s and an improvement in design efficiency by 26.5 % from 20.4 % to 25.8 %.

The existing design of primary school classroom chair and table had brought low back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain problems respectively among students in primary school. The purpose of this study is to relate the electromyography (EMG) analysis with the most critical area of the body during sitting and writing. Six male and six female primary school students from SK Seri Perlis with no back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain problems involved were invited as respondents in this study. EMG experiment was carried out by first determined the critical point at T9 and L3 from thoracic and lumbar segment respectively for ECG electrode placement and performed with a series of sitting trials for analysis. The sitting trials performed were slouch to lumbopelvic sitting and slouch to thoracic sitting follow by instruction. Next, the electrode placement was identified at C2-C3 on cervical spine for neck and at midpoint between C7 to the lateral edge of acromion spanning for shoulder respectively. These points were identified for a series of writing task performing for the EMG analysis. There were two type of writing task which included writing by looking at the whiteboard and paper placed on the table. The subjects were instructed to rest during the experiment when necessary. During lumbopelvic sitting posture, the average muscle activation on lumbar area was at the highest peak. The peak indicated that there was critical effect from the experimental finding. The performance of writing task from whiteboard gave rise a higher impact on neck muscle while writing task from paper had a greater impact on shoulder muscle. The critical affected muscle on these areas was proven on these written tasks. The EMG experiment showed that the existing design of primary school classroom chair and table had brought impact on lumbar, neck and shoulder towards the students who were using. A future recommendation suggests that to redesign primary school classroom chair and table which develop with prototype for improvement of EMG result testing.

This paper presents an analysis of the mechanism of gears and belt system of Small Sugarcane Juice Extractor machines. The existing design of sugarcane extractor consists of two rollers with the pulley system connected by V-belts. The power generated by the motor will be transmitted from the wheel to the gears and finally the rotating shaft. The rollers will tear then press the sugarcane to extract the juices. The need for the mechanism analysis is necessary to obtain information on existing design for future development of a new version of extractor machine. This is due to currently available sugarcane juice extractors requiring high energy to power bulk and heavy roller mills that are mechanically driven. The analysis is focused on gears, belt and roller as well as the weakness, advantages and disadvantages of the existing extractor.

Survey on customer needs of wheelchair design for big size patient
This paper presents a survey on customer needs on wheelchair design for big size patient weight maximum up to 150kg. As more patients who are overweight are admitted to hospitals, critical care nursing care become more important. In order to design new type of wheelchair for big size patient, customer's needs requirements are very important in early development process. It firmly identified with idea age, idea choice, aggressive benchmarking and foundation of item determinations. The data obtained from this survey is very useful for designer in designing of new type wheelchair for big size patient, which currently not available or very difficult to find in the market.

Smart Air Quality Monitoring System Using Arduino Mega
Traditionally, pollution measurements are performed using expensive equipment at fixed locations or dedicated mobile equipment laboratories. The automatic air quality monitoring system using Arduino can save cost and easy to access. The project that we have undertaken has helped us gain a better perspective on various aspects related to our course of study as well as practical knowledge of electronic equipment and communication. Moreover, the project of air quality monitoring system has achieved to monitor and prevent the effect of high temperature and dusty air to the child and human just like the objective of the project needed. The project can detect the temperature and dust density and besides that it will send alert to the user when detecting the air quality is unhealthy. Furthermore, a project is design and develop air quality monitoring system using Arduino Mega which is to enhance safety affect such that even the minor eye irritation can make the user to lose his concentration and lead to serious accidents. Where the dust sensor and temperature able to detect hazy day that triggers buzzer to alert user to decrease the outdoor activities. Air quality is monitor for whole day at Ulu Pauh Putra by using this device and the data is recorded and make into a graph. The average dust density is 78.22ug/m3 and the range of dust density levels are about 68.07ug/m3 to 84.87ug/m3. By comparing the result to API reading show that air quality is moderate pollution that does not pose any bad effect on health. The testing of project was done for whole day is to verify the accuracy of the data. Moreover, it can help to avoid errors occur in the project. Focusing on the device produced, it detects high temperature and sense the dusty air immediately. Once the sensitivity is high, the buzzer module will active to alert user.
