The Electrical Engineering Principle book is suitable for undergraduate students in the field of electrical engineering courses in order to understand teh basic concept and explanation of electrical systems. The contents of this book are divided into five (5) chapters. The chapters are covered all tpoic in electrical engineering principle. For example, in chapter 1 students will expose to the introduction of electrical system, the basic concept and the explanation of per unit in power system. Whereas, the explanation in each chapter are including the topic of magnetism and electromagnet, single phase transformer, three phase transformer and also the AC and DC machine fundamental. The examples of question and solutions are also explained very well together in each chapter so that the students will be able to understand more details. This book also consists the questions and problems at the end of each chapter which is to examine student understanding towards of the topic. The Electrical Engineering Pinciple is very useful and very appropriate for electrical engineering students to enhance their understanding of basic concept in electrical system. It is also suitable to be used as a guide in fulfills their need in learning process.

Various international standards have specified the requirements and applications of low voltage protection devices. This paper aims to study those requirements and application guidelines for the purpose of designing and constructing suitable protective equipment of Class A category. In this case, Surge Protector Category A is focussed because the service entrance Surge Protection Device (SPD) provides the first line of defence against electrical transients for a facility by diverting high energy, outside surges to ground and it also lowers the energy to a level that can be handled by downstream devices closer to the load. A surge protector is a device that keeps power levels constant against power line fluctuations which cause by lightning mainly and if is not used, fluctuations in the power line can potentially have drastic effects on the equipment such as computer. Therefore the proper coordination of surge protective device specified for Class A category is required to avoid damaging SPDs installed on distribution panels or locally at vulnerable equipment. Class A protection is a protection between the outlets and the long branch circuits and equipment.
