Product simplification design improvement by using DFMA method DFMA analysis on measuring tape

For this project, it is focused on the improving design and analysis measuring tape. Measuring tape is not a new thing to us. It is a high demand product in surveyor industry. Currently, they are a lot of measuring tape design are selling in the market. The objectives of this project are to design the measuring tape and to decrease the time to assembly the product. Besides, it also learn on to analyse the cost of manufacturing of the product. The design of measuring tape is using CAD software and then transfer to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to analyses the capabilities of part design. At the end of this project, this research will give understanding about design using CAD software and do analysis that improved the measuring tape.
