Abstract
The sustainable retrofits strategy is synonymous with improving the performance of the building in terms of ability to improve quality in the areas of environmental protection, regional economy and community social factors that occupied the building. This strategy is now becoming favorable as it provides incentives to combine environmental resources with other changes in buildings. Therefore, this research emphasis to evaluate the level of sustainable retrofits potential factors which are classified into three main dimensions of factors: internal, external and additional in assisted to focus on the important factors that have huge influence in achieving success sustainable building performance. This research was conducted to provide the strategies that can be adopt to achieve better performance of retrofits existing buildings while, also minimize the issues on overwhelming ratio of existing building to new construction towards creating a better human environment.
