The aim of this pilot study is to examined friendship maintenance behaviour and psychological well-being in single and married working women. A total of 45 women who work at non-engineering school in Universiti Malaysia Perlis were randomly selected as participant. Of these, 27 women are married and 18 women are single lady. A Friendship Maintenance scale by Oswald and Ryff's Psychological well-being scale were employed as the research instrument. This study used independent-sample t-test to compare the mean scores of variables for the groups. Result show there is no significant different in the mean scores of both variables for both groups.
