In this work, a compact MIMO antenna is designed as a planar inverted F-antenna (PIFA) which can be used for smallest smartphones. The proposed antenna will cover the GSM frequency range of 900MHz and 1800MHz. Those dual bands are attained with high gain up to 4.7dB. Simulation and experimental results have been presented.
