Abstract
The initial magnetic susceptibility of a two dimensional ferrofluid system has been calculated. Assuming a two body interraction approach, we find that the ordering temperature T0 depends on both of the anisotropy energy of the particles and the direction of the magnetic field. Our calculations illustrate the effect of the particle's size as a sensitive parameter or determining the state of the assembly magnetization.
