Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate work-life balance outlook in Malaysian academic institutions, the role of religion as coping strategies for managing work-life balance and help their workforce to reach their potential in terms of productivity and commitment. Under this overall purpose specific research objectives are determined such as explore the interpretation of the concept of WLB from Islamic perspective, determine sources and causes of work-life conflict that have effect on universities Muslim women academic staff to experience perceived work-life imbalance, Identifying Islamic methods, policies and principles of achieving WLB, Analyzing, how Islamic institutions attempt to achieve work-life balance and explore the impact of Islamic WLB solutions / methods on work-life satisfaction. The researcher will be used questionnaires and semi-structured interview with Muslim women academician in Malaysian higher learning institutions to answer questions of this research.
