dc.description.abstract The rapid development in agro-tech plays an important role in the production of greenhouse plantations for cultivating high-value fruits, flowers and vegetables. It is imperative to constantly monitor the optimal requirement for these high value crops in every phase of the plant growth to maintain the best production quality. However, to develop a fully automated system for a plant, needs optimum plant itself should be emphasized to ensure the various phases of the plants will grow in accordance with a predetermined rate and this has not been specifically designed. This research explores the application of optimizing scheduler for constant monitoring and management on each phases of the crop cycle. In recent years, agronomists are using the manual or semi-auto data gathering in monitoring the environment of the greenhouse such as the soil moisture, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2) and temperature. However, they are potential problem can occur in manual or semi auto data acquisition such as human error, non-real time, and no feedback to actuators system which can have direct impact on the crop production.
