Abstract
A wearable antenna is antenna that can be worn or integrated into clothing for the purposes of communication, which include navigation and tracking, public safety and mobile computing. In this paper, proposed antenna is designed to operate from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz with -10dB return loss bandwidth. It consists of a circular patch and a partial ground plane. This antenna was designed on substrate with overall size of 40 x40mm and dielectric substrate with εr =1.44. The analysis of the structures were carried out using CST Microwave Studio. Simulated results in terms of reflection coefficient, bandwidth, current distribution, radiation pattern, as well as gain and efficiency are presented to validate the usefulness of the proposed design.
