Early researchers defined the term aggression to represent both violent and hostility behaviors. The term aggressiveness which is derived from aggression has been used to measure the optimistic behavioral responses from emotion. As the source of aggressiveness can be measured from the brain, further investigation on aggressiveness will provide a clearer understanding of the various levels of aggression. The conventional methods use questionnaires to measure the aggressiveness level of the human. The subjects may provide wrong information and thus the responses obtained from the participants do not provide a reasonable model. Furthermore, questionnaire-based research might not be able to effectively assess the aggressiveness level, which belief to be varied over time. With that the aim of this paper is to conduct the preliminary investigation on Buss-Perry Questionnaire Score (BPQS) for designing the experimental protocol of electroencephalogram (EEG) based assessment. Nine college students are chosen to conduct the investigation. The analysis results show that 3 group people, which is BPAI < 50%, 50% < BPAI < 70% and BPAI > 70% could be used as references for measurement of EEG based aggressiveness level for the further investigation.
