Centre of Excellence for Social Innovation and Sustainability (CoESIS)

The Centre of Excellence for Social Innovation and Sustainability, better known as CoESIS, was established in 2020. CoESIS focuses on conducting translational research in various fields to enhance UniMAP's impact on improving the well-being and sustainability of the community. It strives to conduct impactful research in fields related to social innovation and sustainability by collaborating with external organizations and involving universities both locally and abroad. By providing a platform for researchers to practice positive professionalism, CoESIS can act as an agent of positive change in sustainable social practices and enhance the quality of community well-being. All of these objectives will be achieved through five clusters: Cluster of Social Marketing & Entrepreneurship, the Cluster of Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the Cluster of Economic Sustainability & Good Governance, the Cluster of Mathematical Sciences & Data Analytics, and the Cluster of Human Well-Being and Gender Equality.
