Abstract
This study aims to examine the factors that influence the effectiveness of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization in Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). The specific objective of this study is to understand the relationship between factors of innovation and demographic factors in influencing the effectiveness of ICT utilization. Using a simple random sampling method, a total of 210 respondents were selected consisting of MPC headquarters and 5 MPC branches throughout Malaysia. Data and information were collected using questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed using Pearson correlation statistical analysis, multiple regression, t test and ANOV A. The findings show that there is a significant relationship between the factors of innovation such as relative advantages, compatibility, complexity, sustainability and reliability with the effectiveness of ICT utilization in MPC. The results also showed that there was no significant difference between demographic factors and the effectiveness of ICT usage. This finding suggests that factors of innovation affect the acceptance of innovation and will be the determinant of quality in an organization.
