Abstract
The development of comprehensive plastic injection molding process models and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) manufacturing provides a basis for realizing optimization of process parameters in plastic injection molding process towards warpage problems. The variable parameters of the process are melt temperature, melt temperature, packing pressure and packing time. In this study, front panel housing has been analyzed with thermoplastic material of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) used as the molded material. Design of Experiment (DOE) and Response surface methodology method were used to analyze the optimal process parameters setting. From the optimal processing parameters, the warpage has been optimized by 34.66%.
