Abstract
The study aims to comprehensively analyze the subject of technologyy-driven language Acquisition in Malaysia by undertaking a bibliometric analysis of 524 papers retrieved from the Scopus database spanning the years 2015 to 2023. The purpose of this research is to identify the authors, universities, countries, and topics that have made the most significant contributions to the area and to trace the evolution of the research pattern across the years. Additionally, it aims to emphasize collaborations between authors, universities, and countries within the field, explore recent research topics pursued by researchers, and evaluate Malaysia's contribution to the field. Microsoft Excel, VOS viewer, and Harzing tools are commonly employed in academic research for the purposes of citation analysis, content analysis, and network analysis. The Bibliometric assessment was enhanced by conducting an extensive review of contemporary scholarly articles. This review not only identifies the prominent scientific figures in the literature on technology-driven language acquisition but also highlights the prevalence of scholars from Malaysia who have made significant contributions to the field through numerous publications. Consequently, we have identified seven distinct study subjects, or clusters, pertaining to studies on ltechnology-driven language acquisition facilitated by technology. The objective of this review is to identify and analyse areas of research that have not been adequately explored, as well as to suggest potential avenues for future investigation.
