Abstract
The received signal strength (RSS) of radio frequency signals is investigated in this research for person identification in an indoor wireless sensor network (WSN). Device-Free, Passive Localization, often known as "device-free localization,"refers to a wider collection of localization techniques that do not need the usage of any equipment. The system was developed using seven ESP8266-12F Wi-Fi module transmitters and one ESP8266-12F receiver in the area of interest. The aim for reducing sensor nodes is to enable the system to be deployed for both outdoor and interior environments with less computing time-consuming. The strong and weak RSS displayed distinct readings that represented RSS changes. However, when RSS decreases there is no obstruction and when RSS increases, there is an obstacle (Human).
