Abstract
This casebook is a compilation of cases of Malaysian companies that were based on intensive research conducted in a wide range of areas from marketing strategies to human resource management in manufacturing and service oriented industries. The main focus of this casebook is on the analysis of prominent issues and problems faced by companies and offering resolutions pertaining to improvement of firm’s performance and competitiveness by aligning the business with the Economic Transformation Programme. The cases cover various companies ranging from small and medium enterprises to large multinational companies from ageing to emerging industries. The key issues analyze are related to improvement in sales performance and people management effectiveness.
