Abstract
In process of the shaping plastic part, the defects always encounter with the produced plastic part shape and functionality are affected by plastic injection molding process. This study is relating to a decreasing warpage and improving the process parameter in injection molding. One of the defects on injected parts is warpage, from a certain path this defect normally produces a band-like shape deviation. For the comparison, Differential Evolution (DE) approach will be used in combination with Autodesk Moldflow Insight (AMI) and (Response Surface Methodology) RSM result. The best combination of parameter setting is gained and effect the warpage to become decreases. To produce good quality of injection molding parts this will be contributed continuous production line run with high accuracy and good parameters setting. Without wasting time and resources, this advance research will contribute to producing a good quality injection molding parts.
