Abstract
Rotary tiller are one of tools in the agricultural sector that have been used to convert soil in a given condition into a seedbed. Moreover, the rotary tiller could be function as a restoration the soil structure before planting. The present study was conducted to determine the characteristic of soil pulverization that affected by new rotary tiller blade design. In this study, there are three types of rotary tiller blades; (l) rod tiller blades, (2) 4-tiller blades and (3) 3-tiller blades which has been conducted on two types of soil (Soil A & Soil B). The resultant effect on soil pulverization is obtained from three types blades design, operating time, power requirement and torque. Result obtained for each combination show significant on the design of 3-tiller blades. The soil pulverization clearly see that the rotary tiller blade have produce a fine seed.
